- Similar to aniline
- Some protective coating
- More resistance to staining
- Prone to fading
- Easier to clean
Bi-caste leather
- Hard wearing
- Polyurethane finish
- Plastic feel and apperance
- Surface can break down and become dull and tacky
- Not repairable
Bonded leather
- Cheap alternative to real leather
- Made from natural leather left overs
- Not as durable as real leather
- Has vinyl feel to it due to man made process
